NextGEN Gallery Optimizer Now Discontinued

Due to the major breaking changes set to be introduced with the Gutenberg editor in WordPress v5.0, NextGEN Gallery Optimizer has now been discontinued.

Valid license holders for Optimizer Pro will continue to receive support if required, but the product has now been removed from sale, in preparation for the release.

I want to say a big thank you to everyone who's enjoyed using the plugin to optimize their sites over the last six and a half years, and wish you all the best for the future.

Kind regards,
Mark.

Have Some Questions? Here's A Quick Q&A...

How long will my update/support license last?

Each license is valid for one calendar year from the date of your purchase. Once a full year has elapsed, you can renew your license for another year at a substantially discounted rate.

What are the plugin requirements?

NextGEN Gallery Optimizer Pro requires a self-hosted install of WordPress v3.7 to v4.7, and a copy of either NextGEN Gallery v2 (v2.0.0 to v2.1.60), NextGEN Legacy (v1.6.2 to v1.9.13) or NextCellent Gallery (v1.9.14 to v1.9.31). Additionally, PHP 5 is a minimum requirement (just as with WordPress itself), and it's fully PHP 7 ready.

What payment methods do you accept?

All payments are processed by PayPal, who will accept most debit cards, credit cards and of course, payments from your PayPal account.

Do you offer refunds?

Yes, we will consider refunds, but only in some special situations. You can find more information about the refund policy on the
Terms and Conditions page.

If you'd like to test the plugin on your specific setup before purchase, we encourage you to download Optimizer Basic at the WordPress plugin repository.

Additionally, we have live demos of Pro features functioning right here on this site. We're using WordPress v4.7, with NextGEN Gallery v2.1.60 and NextGEN Gallery Optimizer Pro v2.1.5, with the NextGEN Gallery Deactivator feature active.

Is this plugin compatible with WordPress Multisite?

Not at the moment, however we are looking to add support for multisite installs in a future release of the plugin.

I'm currently using the old Optimizer Premium for NextGEN Legacy (v1.x.xx), do I get a discount if I upgrade to Optimizer Pro 2.0?

As a thank you for your previous support towards this project, we want to offer you a discount of your original donation amount, on your choice of license for Optimizer Pro 2.0.

For example, if you had donated $15, a Personal license for Optimizer Pro 2.0 would be $14 (a discount of over 50%).

Please contact us with your old PayPal donation receipt, and we'll send you a personalized coupon code you can enter at the checkout.

What do I get when I renew my license?

When you renew your license, you'll receive an additional full calendar year of support and software updates. This provides peace of mind, knowing you can turn to us for support and assistance with NextGEN Gallery Optimizer Pro at any time.

You'll also continue to receive software updates (right in your admin), ensuring compatibility with future versions of both WordPress and NextGEN Gallery, as well as access to great new features and enhancements!

Will Optimizer stop working if my license expires?

Not at all. If your license expires, Optimizer Pro will continue to work just fine, unless something changes in NextGEN Gallery or the WordPress core itself. You just won't have access to software updates, new features or our Pro support.
